Province Wide Shutdown Starts on December 26, 2020

On Monday, December 21st, 2020 The Province of Ontario announced a Province wide shut down
to stop the spread of COVID-19 on December 26th, 2020.
Therefore, effective of Tuesday December 29th, 2020, Cornwall Mercedes-Benz will move to by appointment
only for vehicle sale operations, with the exception of vehicle repair and parts supply operations.
This policy is in effect for 28 days and may be extended.

Masks Are Now Required When Visiting Our Facility

Eastern Ontario Mandatory Mask Directive

Today Medical Officers of Health from Eastern Ontario Health Unit; Leeds,
Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit; Renfrew County and District Health Unit and Ottawa Public
Health announced a regional approach to the use of masks in their respective jurisdictions
public health unit will be invoking a directive under the province’s Emergency Management and
Civil Protection Act that requires individuals to wear a mask in certain enclosed public spaces.
Under the directive, the person responsible for a business or organization that is open shall operate
the business or organization in compliance with the advice, recommendations and instructions of public
health officials, including any advice, recommendations or instructions on physical distancing, cleaning
or disinfecting. The EOHU’s Directive takes effect as of July 7th at 12:00 A.M.
The decision to implement a mandatory masking policy made by the 4 health units in Eastern
Ontario follows the initiative of other health units across the province and will decrease the odds of
having to shut down the economy again due to outbreaks of COVID-19. “Mandatory masks will help
support businesses and service providers throughout the region as they resume operations by reducing
the risk of an outbreak in their workplace, adding another layer of protection for their employees,
and increasing customers’ confidence that they can enjoy a safe return to shopping and other activities,”
says Dr. Roumeliotis.

The Ontario government unveiled stage one of its recovery plan and has lifted the
restriction on dealerships to operate by appointment only,
as the province battles the COVID-19 outbreak.
In accordance with the Framework for Opening our Province, effective May 19th, 2020,
dealerships are no longer restricted to operate ‘by appointment only’ as long as they
comply with strict public health safety measures.
Workplace Safety and Prevention Services has created
Guidelines and Best Practices for the vehicle sales and service sector
to ensure the economy’s demands are balanced with the health and safety of the people.
The measures outlined in the guideline will help employers prepare their workplaces so they can be
reopened safely and to ensure workers, customers, and the public are protected.

On Friday, April 3, 2020, the Government of Ontario announced additional mandatory business closures
to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect the health of Ontarians.
Therefore, effective 11:59 p.m. tonight, Cornwall Mercedes-Benz must close physical/showroom operations,
with the exception of vehicle repair and parts supply operations. This closure is in effect for 14 days and may be extended.
Cornwall Mercedes-Benz sales operation remain open for on-line & telephone inquiries,
with the option of remote vehicle delivery of New & Certified Pre-Owned vehicles to clients homes.

Health and Safety for all of us is our Priority

Cornwall Mercedes-Benz would like to reassure its customers, employees and their families by informing them that
health and safety of all of us is our priority during this special period linked to COVID-19, while maintaining our operations.
Know that exceptional hygiene and prevention measures are taken in our dealership and that a management
committee has been set up in order to stay abreast of developments in the situation and to ensure the application
of the recommendations made by the Government of Ontario and Health Canada within the company.

Preventive measures in place at our dealership to limit the spread:

• Special hygienic procedures are applied by our employees and the housekeeping company (frequent disinfection of shared surfaces and used devices, display of reminders, etc.)
• A distance of one meter is maintained between the individuals.
• Our employees are well aware of the risks and symptoms of the virus.
• Employees who have traveled abroad must work from home for a period of 14 days.

We will do everything in our power to maintain the same level of service that you are used to despite the situation.
Please note that the opening hours of all our departments remain unchanged.

To ensure the promise of prevention made herein, we ask you to respect certain hygiene measures when you visit our dealerships:

• Hand disinfection at the entrance and exit of the establishment (disinfectant solution distributors available)
• Respect the established safe distance of one (1) meter between you and others.
• If you have traveled or have symptoms, we ask that you not to visit our dealership.
